Welcome to another week of nourishing our bodies, moving with intention, and finding joy in the little things! 🌿✨ March is here, and with it comes a fresh energy—a chance to reset, refocus, and step into spring feeling lighter, stronger, and more vibrant.
Here’s what’s on my plate (literally and figuratively) this week.
What I’m Eating 🍽️
This week, I’m focusing on foods that naturally support detoxification—not in the trendy "cleanse" way, but through real, whole foods that gently help the body do what it’s designed to do. Think leafy greens, fiber-rich meals, and hydrating citrus-packed recipes.
Some of my favorite meals this week:
🥑 Breakfast: A smoothie packed with berries, lemon, and ginger to start my day with an anti-inflammatory boost. My go-to has been my Berry Basil Breeze smoothie—so refreshing!
🥗 Lunch: A warm quinoa bowl with steamed broccoli, avocado, and a simple tahini dressing. I love how easy this is to prep ahead!
🍛 Dinner: A comforting bowl of roasted sweet potatoes, sautéed kale, and chickpeas tossed with turmeric and cumin. Earthy, grounding, and packed with anti-inflammatory goodness.
🌱 Snacks: I’ve been reaching for cucumber slices with hummus and a handful of walnuts and Brazil nuts for some healthy fats and selenium for thyroid support.
🌿 Tea of the Week: I’m loving dandelion tea as a gentle liver-supporting, digestion-boosting tea. It pairs perfectly with a quiet moment of reflection.
Refresh and nourish your body with my Berry Basil Breeze Smoothie, a delicious blend of antioxidant-rich blueberries, fresh basil, and a hint of citrus! 🍋✨ Want the full recipe and more inflammation-fighting blends? How I’m Moving 🏃♀️
Movement has been all about flow and intention this week. Instead of forcing intense workouts, I’ve been focusing on low-impact, inflammation-friendly movement to support my joints and overall well-being.
💃 Morning: 10-15 minutes of stretching and breathwork to wake up my body gently.
🚶♀️ Midday: A brisk walk outdoors (whenever the weather allows). Fresh air and movement do wonders for the mind and body!
🧘♀️ Evening: Yoga with a focus on hip openers and gentle twists—perfect for reducing tension and aiding digestion.
I’m reminding myself that movement should feel good, not forced. Some days, I have energy for more strength work; other days, a slow yoga flow is exactly what my body needs.
Spending time in nature is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to reduce stress and inflammation—just a few deep breaths under the trees can restore balance, clarity, and a sense of peace.
What I’m Loving 💛
This week, I’ve been embracing small rituals that help me feel more grounded and intentional in my day. A few things bringing me joy:
📖 Book I’m Reading: The Circadian Code by Dr. Satchin Panda – an insightful read on how our bodies function best when we align with natural rhythms. I’m already seeing ways I can tweak my schedule for better energy and sleep!
🌸 New Self-Care Ritual: Dry brushing before my shower—it’s such a simple way to stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage. Plus, it feels amazing!
🍋 Wellness Habit: Adding fresh lemon juice to my water first thing in the morning. Hydration + vitamin C = a great way to start the day!
🎶 Music on Repeat: A relaxing binaural beats playlist to help me focus while working. It’s been a game-changer for productivity.
Starting my morning with a glass of warm lemon water is a simple yet powerful way to hydrate, support digestion, and give my body a refreshing boost of vitamin C—one small habit that makes a big difference!
Final Thoughts
This week, I’m reminding myself that small, consistent actions lead to long-term health. No extremes, no all-or-nothing thinking—just intentional choices that nourish my body, mind, and spirit.
